Arsenal have been give an injury boost ahead of their Premier League encounter with Brighton, with Ghanaian International Thomas Partey having resumed full training.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder has been on the sidelines after sustaining an injury in Arsenal’s 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspurs.
As a result, the big money signee has missed Arsenal’s last six games but has now returned to full training as they prepare to face Brighton & Hove Albion.
Partey’s return will be a key boost for Arsenal who are looking to maintain their winning run after defeating Chelsea last week.
Arteta’s men had gone winless prior to the game against Chelsea but they turned up in style as goals from Lacazette, Saka and Xhaka ensured they secured all three points at the Emirates.
But while Thomas Partey has returned to training, Brazilian duo of David Luiz and Willian are both sidelined due to illness but have returned to outside training and are expected to join the full squad on Thursday, 31st December .
