Thomas Partey expected to return against Crystal Palace
Arsenal are set to welcome back Ghanaian international, Thomas Partey, when the Gunners host Crystal Palace on Thursday night.
The 27-year-old marquee summer signing sustained a hamstring injury during the London derby against Tottenham Hotspur in December and hasn’t featured in a game since, but is now ready to play in the heart of Arsenal’s midfield.
Arteta, in his press conference ahead of the game, indicated that Partey could form part of his plans when Arsenal play host to Palace in the Premier League this week
He said:
Hopefully we will have him in the squad on Thursday. Let’s see how he trains in the next couple of days. He’s really good at the moment.

Meanwhile, Gabriel Martinelli is only back to full training and not expected to make the matchday squad.
A victory over Crystal Palace could see them move into the top half of the table.
