Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, has expressed his excitement at welcoming teenage sensation, Amad Diallo to the club after securing his paperworks.
The Ivorian wonderkid was signed by Manchester United in the summer from Atalanta, in a deal which could rise to £37m ($48m), but was allowed to stay with the club for the first half of the season.
The 18-year-old Ivorian right-winger was reportedly on the club’s radar since 2016, when he was spotted playing at Under-15 level, and having finally secured his paper works, he is expected to join up with Solskjaer’s men this month.
The Manchester United boss certainly knows the abilities of the player, and has confirmed that the he is excited to bring him in.
With Amad we’ve had all the paperwork, or we’re waiting for all the paperwork. I can’t see any obstacles really, Solskjaer told reporters.AdvertisementAdvertisement
Hopefully within not too long he’ll be with us. I’m very excited about bringing him in. I think he’s shown a few times his qualities.
Of course he has to learn to play in England, that’s a different level of football. We’ll give him time to develop and to express himself.Advertisement
Amad Diallo featured for Gian Piero Gasperini’s side during this season’s UEFA Champions League campaign, coming on as a substitute against Danish side FC Midtjylland.
He will be joining a Manchester United who are in a good form and are level on points with league leaders Liverpool after defeating Dean Smith’s Aston Villa at Old Trafford last Friday.
