Houston Rockets after three games have now secured their first win of the season as they defeated Kings 122-119 in the early hours of the new year at the Toyota center.
Rockets who missed the first game of the season as a result of some of their players testing positive for Covid-19, lost their first game of the season against Trail Brazzers 128-126 before going on to lose the second against Nuggets 124-111.
But they were able to secure their first of the season as they defeated Sacramento Kings. Rockets lost the first quarter of the game 32-33 but bounced back to win the second quarter 31-26. They then fell in the third 24-27 before winning the last with 35-33.
Out of Rocket’s 122 points, James Harden scored 33 of those points, the most by any player on the pitch. He also made 6 rebounds and 8 assists. John Wall and Christian Wood also contributed 22 and 21 points respectively to help Rockets secure their first win of the season.
The loss by Kings means they have now suffered their second loss of the new campaign but have a superior win rate of 3.
Both Rockets and Kings will hit the court again tomorrow in what will be Rockets’ 4th game of the season and Kings’ 6th game of the season.
