Both Karela and Olympics have been inconsistent in their last few games in the Ghana Premier League. The leaders have won three and lost two out of their last five games, with the latest win coming in the 4-1 thrashing of Berekum Chelsea to go top of the table. Olympics have won twice, drawn one and lost twice in five games.

The game will likely be decided in both boxes with one club posing a bigger threat with their attack while the other is dominant in the other end of the pitch.

Karela’s 16 goals in 9 games is only bettered by AshantiGold (18) showing their ruthlessness in front of goal. They will certainly fancy adding more goals to the tally with the likes of Dawisie Taylor leading the attack.

However, they face a strong Olympics side who have conceded just eight goals in the season and are behind Kumasi Asante Kotoko (5) on the chart of less goals conceded.

Prediction:  Great Olympics 1-2 Karela

Kotoko vs Aduana Stars

It might be an unpleasant experience for most of their fans, but Kumasi Asante Kotoko are picking up points on the domestic front with their one goal project.

Their 1-0 win over Dwarfs on Wednesday was the club’s third win in just five games, propelling them to third position and just a point behind Karela FC.

That trend is expected to continue this weekend when they face Aduana Stars who are currently in 8th position. The Dormaa side have picked nine out of 15 points in their last 5 games and have a similar average goalscroing rate with Kotoko this season.

Both teams might adopt a cautious approach to prevent a loss as the title race gets even hotter. The game is, thus, likely to end in a draw.

Prediction: Kotoko 1-1 Aduana Stars

Other fixtures

Aside the top of the table clashes, Legon Cities will test their wits against the most prolific side in the Premier League on Saturday as their struggle in the League continues.

Bashir Hayford’s side are still looking for their second win of the season and will be hoping to secure that against Ashantigold who have a chance to reclaim their top spot after losing it out to Karela FC last weekend.

In the other week 10 fixtures, Accra Hearts of Oak will face Berekum Chelsea on Sunday while King Faisal who have drawn  three consecutive games in their last five games will face Eleven Wonders.
