Mauricio Pochettino likely to land Paris Saint-Germain job

Former Tottenham Hotspur coach, Mauricio Pochettino, is reportedly in line to become the new manager of French outfit Paris Saint-Germain after the sacking of Thomas Tuchel.

Thomas Tuchel was relieved of his duties just hours after the club’s 4-0 win over Strasbourg, a result which left the defending champions a point behind league leaders, Lyon.

The Argentine has been out of work since being sacked by Spurs last season and according to reliable sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano, Pochettino’s lawyers are in contact to finalize the deal.

Mauricio Pochettino [with his lawyers] and PSG board are in contact by 24 hours to reach the agreement. ‘Poch’ is expected to become the new PSG manager on next hours when every detail will be sorted. Here we go is coming…

If appointed Pochettino will be charged with guiding the club to another Ligue 1 triumph and most importantly going past Barcelona in the last 16 of the Champions League  this season.
