Marcus Rashford on target as Manchester United edge out Wolves

Marcus Rashford scored a late winner as the Red Devils beat Wolves 1-0 on Tuesday night to move to second on the Premier League table.

Manchester United made six changes from the team that drew with Leicester on Boxing Day, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who missed the last two matches with fitness issues, recalled to the starting team.

United were able to steal the three points at the death through Marcus Rashford, who found space inside the Wolves penalty area before lashing a shot into the back of the net via a deflection off the unfortunate Moroccan captain.

The result leaves United on 30 points from 15 games, two behind champions and leaders Liverpool who visit Newcastle United on Wednesday.

In another match, Alexandre Lacazette scored in a second successive match as Arsenal picked their second win in a row with a hard-fought 1-0 win away to Brighton on Tuesday night.

Elsewhere, the Blades set an unwanted Premier League record with a loss away to Burnley, meaning they have gone 16 matches without a win.
