Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt have re-signed former forward Luka Jovic from Real Madrid on loan until the end of the season.
The Serbia international, 23, netted 36 goals in 75 competitive matches for the German club before joining the La Liga giants in June 2019.
He returns to the Bundesliga in a bid to secure regular first-team football after failing to impress at the Bernabeu.
Fredi Bobic, board member of Eintracht told club’s official website: “Luka hasn’t had an easy time of late in Madrid.
It’s important for him to find his form again. He had a strong desire to return to Eintracht.Advertisement
Luka can use the next few months to get back to his best in an environment that’s familiar to him. Real Madrid know that he’ll be well looked after with us and can continue his development.
And for us, it’s clear that we have another outstanding option at centre-forward.Advertisement
