Following Jurgen Klopp’s departure, Liverpool has made major changes to their backroom staff, bringing in new faces and restructuring key roles under new manager Arne Slot.
In the fitness department, the head of fitness Andreas Kornmayer and the head of recovery Andreas Schlumberger have left. They’ve been replaced by Ruben Peeters, Slot’s long-serving physical performance coach, to lead the team’s fitness program.
Dr. Jonathan Power remains the team doctor but now oversees the entire medical department. He is joined by Dr. Amit Pannu as the first-team doctor, filling the spot left by Dr. Sarah Lindsay.
Other changes include the promotion of Dr. Conall Murtagh to head of physical performance, while Lee Nobes is now head of rehab physio and Chris Morgan takes charge of performance physio, focusing on matchdays.
Liverpool has also added Diogo Paiva as a technical skills coach, alongside a refreshed support staff, signaling a new era for the club as they aim to stay competitive under Slot.
