Ligue 1 report: Monaco stun PSG

After conceding two goals in the first half, AS Monaco came back from behind to secure a 3-1 win against Paris Saint Germain in the French Ligue 1.

Kylian Mbappe scored twice in the 25th and 37th minute(through the penalty spot) to give the defending champions and league leaders a 2-0 lead at the break.

But Monaco came in strong in the second half as former FC Barcelona and Chelsea star, Cesc Fabregas came off the bench to inspire the hosts to a dramatic win.

The Spain international was involved in two goals as he assisted one of Kevin Volland’s goals before securing the win in the 84th win via a penalty.

The results pushed Monaco to 4th place on 20 points and just 4 points behind Paris Saint Germain.

In the other fixtures, Lille also secured a thumping victory against Lorient as they defeated them by 4-0. Lyon also maintained their second spot with a slim win over Angers in the 11th week of the Ligue 1 campaign.
