Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne out for up to six weeks with muscle problem

Manchester City will be without their playmaker, Kevin De Bruyne after it was confirmed that the player will be out for up to six weeks.

The Belgian midfielder sustained a knock during Manchester City’s clash with Aston Villa and is set to miss the club’s Premier League and FA cup games in the coming weeks.

Reacting to De Bruyne’s injury and absence, Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola indicated:

It’s a big blow, isn’t it? It is but we have to move forward.

I’m not saying anything that anyone doesn’t know, it is unfortunate for him and for us and we have to find a solution because everyone in their own life is struggling in the situation we are living and we have to adapt.

Pep Guardiola’s side will travel to Whaddon Road as they face Cheltenham Town in the FA Cup fourth round.
