Former Udinese and Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has announced his retirement from international football, after over 9 years of active service with Ghana.
The U20 World Cup winner’s retirement comes after a three year absence from the national team, since he played at the 2017 African Cup of Nations in Gabon.
I tried several time to win Afcon for the nation after winning under 20 African Cup and World Cup but came closed twice, I’m a bit disappointed but I know my colleagues there will do that for us coming years.AdvertisementAdvertisement
I’m available if the nation need me to help in any way. Thank you Ghana and may God bless us all” he concluded.
