NBA report: Jaylen Brown sets new NBA record; Nets win for the first time with trio
Jaylen Brown on Sunday night continued with his impressive form as he played a crucial role in Boston Celtics’ blowout win over the Cavs at the TD Garden.
Brown was unfortunate on Friday night after his 44 points couldn’t help his side secure a win over Philadelphia 76ers but his 33 points counted very much on Sunday night.
The player netted 33 points as Boston emerged 141-103 winners over Cavaliers and in the process became the first NBA player to score such number of points in less than 20 minutes.
Jaylen Brown hit 13 of his 21 shot attempts, including a 3-of-4 mark from beyond the 3-point line.
Jaylen Brown scores the MOST POINTS in under 20 minutes played during the shot clock era (1954-55)!

Elsewhere, Brooklyn Nets found a temporary fix for their poor showing as they edged out Miami Heat 128-124 on Sunday night.
It is the first time they have won a game with the trio of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving and James Harden on the same court. They had previously lost back to back games against the Cavaliers (147-135; 125-113) before Sunday’s game.
Kevin Durant scored the highest points of the trio with 31 points followed by Kyrie Irving with 28 and Harden with the least,12, points.
