Ghana Premier League: Matchweek 2 results

Match week 2 of the Ghana Premier League continued today after Great Olympics stunned Legon Cities for all three points in one of two games that were played on Friday. Bechem United also won at home against WAFA in what was the only game played yesterday.

In today’s fixtures, Kumasi Asante Kotoko failed to secure all three points as a last-minute goal from Emmanuel Clottey snatched a point for Berekum Chelsea. The porcupine Warriors took the lead early in the first half courtesy a Kwame Poku goal but failed to add to their lead and take home all three points.

Chelsea then equalized late in the second half for the points to be shared at the Golden City Park. Aduana Stars also secured a draw in their first game of the season against King Faisal while Dreams FC secured a vital home win against Medaeam SC.
