GFA Secures 13 Buses for Division One and Women’s Premier League Clubs
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has taken a significant step in supporting local football development by securing 13 buses for Division One League and Women’s Premier League clubs. GFA President Kurt Okraku made the announcement during the 30th Ordinary Congress in Prampram, stating that the buses have already arrived in the country.
“Thirteen buses have arrived,” Okraku revealed, adding that the association has sought government assistance to expedite the clearance of the buses from the port. “We have sought the government’s help in clearing these buses from the port,” he noted.
Out of the 13 buses, nine will be allocated to Division One League clubs, while the remaining four will go to Women’s Premier League teams. This initiative is set to significantly boost the transportation capabilities of these clubs, making it easier for them to travel for matches and training sessions.
The provision of these buses is expected to enhance the overall performance of the clubs by reducing the logistical challenges they face, thereby allowing them to focus on improving their game and achieving better results in their respective leagues.
