The Euro 2024 is just around the corner, with 24 nations set to compete for the coveted title of European champions. England is considered one of the favorites to win, but they will face stiff competition from the likes of France, Portugal, Spain, the Netherlands, Italy, and host nation Germany.
The tournament will feature a total of 51 games, including 36 group-stage matches, before 16 teams advance to the knockout rounds. The final will take place on July 14 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

Each of the 24 qualified nations will automatically receive €9.25m (£7.93m) before the tournament even begins. Teams will also earn a match bonus of €1m (£860,000) for a group-stage win and €500,000 (£429,000) for a draw. There is no prize money awarded for a defeat.
The rewards for advancing to the knockout rounds will increase with each round. Teams that reach the round of 16 will receive €1.5m (£1.29m), while those that advance to the quarter-finals will earn €2.5m (£2.14m). Teams that make it to the semi-finals will receive €4m (£3.43m), and the champions of Euro 2024 will earn €8m (£6.86m). The losing finalist will receive €5m (£4.29m).
The maximum amount a team could earn from Euro 2024 is €28.25m (£24.23m) if they win every game en route to the championship.
