His side will need to show more conviction this time around against a West Ham side with a formidable home record this season under David Moyes.

Here’s how the Blues could line up.

Antonio Rudiger (CB) – A warrior in the Blues’ backline, endearing himself to the fans with his powerful runs from deep.

2. Wing-backs & midfielders

Cesar Azplicueta (RWB) – Reece James missed the midweek win over Watford and he could be unavailable for this weekend.

Jorginho (CM) – Ranked highly in the Ballon d’Or nominations after his impressive achievements this year. Missed out in midweek but should return.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek (CM) – Injuries to N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic have opened the door for the Englishman in the team, although he must improve on his display on Wednesday.

Marcos Alonso (LWB) – A big chance for the Spaniard to cement his place in the side with Ben Chilwell out for the foreseeable future.

3. Forwards

Mason Mount (RW) – Netted in the midweek win over Watford, arriving in a good position inside the penalty box, and provided a fine assist for the second.

Romelu Lukaku (ST) – Back from injury and Tuchel will hope he is quickly back among the goals.

Callum Hudson-Odoi (LW) – An effective threat from the left-hand side with his slaloming dribbles. Given a rest in midweek so should be fresh here.
