Champions league fixtures: Group E to H
The 4th week of the 2020/2021 UEFA Champions League season begins today with a host of mouthwatering fixtures. While some clubs will secure qualification to the next stage of the competition with a win tonight, others will seek to boost their qualification chances with a good result.
Both Chelsea and Sevilla will seek to secure qualification by amassing the three maximum points away from home. Chelsea defeated Rennes 3-0 in the reverse fixture and have not conceded a goal in this season’s Uefa Champions League. Sevilla, on the other hand, was given a very difficult game against Krasnodar and had to dig deep for the maximum points.
Borussia Dortmund will also seek to continue their fine performance over the weekend as Haaland gave them a golden moment in their Bundesliga game. In the same group, Barcelona will have to do without Lionel Messi who has been dropped by coach Ronald Koeman for the trip to Kyiv.
Undoubtedly, much focus will be on how the game between RB Leipzig and Paris Saint Germain puns out in Group H. PSG lost the reverse fixture by 2-1 and will need to win to avoid placing third and playing in the Europa League.
