Atletico Madrid will play Chelsea in the round of 16 of the 2020/2021 Champions League season while Paris Saint Germain will play Barcelona in what could be a return for Neymar to Camp Nou.

Atletico Madrid who were second to Bayern Munich in Group A will host Chelsea in the first leg between 16th and 24th February before travelling to Stamford Bridge a fortnight later. The two sides have previously met on 7 occasions, with both Atletico Madrid and Chelsea winning twice and drawing on three occasions.

The last time the two teams met was in 2017 when Atletico Madrid secured a draw at Stamford Bridge after losing the first leg at home by 2-1.

The draw also means that Frank Lampard’s men will travel back to Spain after thrashing Sevilla in their last game of the group stages by 4-0, with Olivier Giroud scoring all 4 goals on the night.

While Chelsea travel to Spain to face Sevilla, Neymar will also lead Paris Saint Germain to the Camp Nou to help his club enact revenge against Barcelona after they (PSG) were thrashed 6-1, with Neymar himself being on the scoresheet for the Catalan team.

After defeating Barcelona by 4-0 at the Parc de Princess, Paris Saint Germain were the favorites to qualify for the next stage of the competition, but Barcelona inspired by Messi, Neymar and Suarez led one of the greatest comebacks ever as they overturned the results in their favor.

This time, Neymar will be at the opposite end and he will be to be on the smiling side once again when they face in February next year.
