The English Football League (EFL) has announced the match officials for Liverpool’s upcoming Carabao Cup third-round clash against West Ham United at Anfield. The game is set to kick off on Wednesday at 8 PM BST, with both teams eyeing a spot in the next round of the competition.

Andrew Madley has been appointed as the referee for this all-Premier League encounter. For Liverpool, Madley has officiated 15 games, with the Reds winning 10, drawing four, and losing only once.

Madley will be assisted by James Mainwaring and Paul Hodskinson on the sidelines. Mainwaring has vast experience in the Premier League, while Hodskinson will be making his debut as an assistant at this level. Leigh Doughty will serve as the fourth official for the game.

With no VAR in operation for this round of the Carabao Cup, all decisions will rely solely on the match officials, making their role even more crucial in this knockout tie. Both teams will be hoping for a smooth and fair contest as they look to advance further in the competition.
