Arsenal vs Manchester United Preview: Confirmed team’s news and predicted lineups

Arsenal will trade tackles with Manchester United in Premier League on Saturday at the Emirates Stadium in what is sure to be an enthralling match-up.

Rejuvenated Arsenal put up an another superb performance in midweek as they got their revenge for their FA Cup loss to Southampton.  They came from behind to beat the Saints 3-1 to extend their unbeaten streak to six Premier League matches.


Mikel Arteta’s side sit ninth on the table, 10 points behind Manchester United who are second on the table with midweek results edging them closer to an European spot that looked out of reach just a month ago.

Manchester United head into this game in a rather fragile state as well after their shock defeat to Sheffield United in midweek, bringing their 13 league game unbeaten streak to an end.


Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side will be drawing inspiration from their away record heading into this encounter. The Red Devils haven’t lost a top flight away game in over a year now, winning 13 of their 17 trips since and scoring in all but one of those.

Ivorian defender, Eric Bailly is still a doubt after picking up a knock in training, while Victor Lindelof is expected to start in place of Axel Tuanzebe on Saturday.

Former PSG forward Edinson Cavani could return to the starting lineup in place of the out of form Anthony Martial, while Scott McTominay and Fred are likely to come into the midfield and move Paul Pogba onto the wing.
