2K’s Hangar 13 teases Mafia: Trilogy


2K Games and Hangar 13 developers have confirmed Mafia: Trilogy, coming to Xbox One. The teaser trailer for the above game reveals a full announcement for Tuesday 19 May at 4 pm.
The new trailer refers to the phrase, “Family. Strength. Respect,” which has been teased throughout the week via Twitter posts. There has been no further info, but we expect to hear more next week.


The first game in the series, Mafia, first made its debut in 2002 and was produced by 2K Czech. Mafia II, the second game, debuted in 2010 and was created by 2K Czech too.
Mafia III was created by Hangar 13, which was first introduced in 2016. Over 10 million copies were sold in the series. The original game took place in a fictional American city during the Prohibition years of the 1930s, and it depicted a feud between the Salieri and Morello mafia families. It starred Angelo as a taxi driver thrusting Thomas “Tommy” into the feud.
Mafia II was set in New York in the 1940s and early 1950s. Mafia II was set in New York in the 1940s and early 1950s. The main character is Sicilian immigrant Vito Scaletta, who returns after World War II from the U.S. Army and finds that his family is indebted to a loan shark. He works for the mob to pay off the debt.
