The first half of the 2020/21 NBA season was brought to an end last week and was climaxed by the All-Star game on Sunday night which team LeBron run out victorious.
The first round has been full of talking points including James Harden’s switch to the Brooklyn Nets to form a powerful trio with Irving and Durant.
There has also been the incredible form of Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers and the Utah Jazz as well as the Covid-19 protocols which has seen several games being postponed in the first round of the 2020/21 NBA season.
The Philadelphia 76ers currently lead the Eastern Conference with 24-12 while the Brooklyn Nets follow closely with 24-13 and the Milwaukee Bucks with 22-14.
On the Western side, Utah Jazz are having an incredible season with a 27-9 lead at the top while the Phoenix Suns have eclipsed Los Angeles Lakers into second place with 24-11. Lakers are now third with 24-13.
The second round of the 2020/21 NBA season is scheduled for the period between Mar. 10 – May 16, with teams now hoping to get a direct spot into the playoffs or into the Play-in Tournament.
