Breaking: Tottenham to face off with Everton in 2020/2021 season opener

Tottenham will begin their 2020/2021 season at home to Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton on September 12, 2020 and it is among a few mouth-watering games to take place on the opening day of the season.

The opening fixtures of the new season will also see Liverpool launching their title defense against Leeds United who will be seeking to avoid an early relegation back to the championship.


Chelsea and Wolves who had extended runs in the Champions League and the Europa League will play their opening games in the 2020/2021 season on 14th September instead of 12th September. Chelsea will face Brighton while Wolves will also travel to meet Sheffield United.

Opening day fixtures for the 2020/2021 season

September 12 fixtures:

  • Crystal Palace v Southampton
  • Fulham v Arsenal
  • Liverpool v Leeds United
  • Tottenham Hotspur v Everton
  • West Bromwich Albion v Leicester City
  • West Ham United v Newcastle United

September 14 fixtures:

  • Brighton v Chelsea
  • Sheffield Utd v Wolves

    Burnley v Man Utd
    Man City v Aston Villa
